No sign of any Grasshopper Warblers just a small selection of other common warblers

A single Waxwing seen briefly in a tree top near to the Spar Shop but it didn't return.

27th December (Warblington/Broadmarsh)

3 Cattle Egrets seen immediately with a a single Little Egret, however, 10 minutes later they flew off.

At Broadmarsh not much to speak of - 3 small grebes a long way out were unidentified.

26th December (Littlehampton boat lake/The Burgh)

No sign of any Med Gulls around the lake - a few Sanderling on the foreshore.

At the Burgh were at least 6 Red Kites and lots of Buzzards as well as a pair of displaying Raven's.  A Buzzard type species flew over being mobbed by Kites which looked good for a Rough-legged Buzzard - I didn't get all the salient features and the above photo is not very helpful, so I will keep an eye on the local Sussex news to see if one gets reported.

We heard partridge but couldn't see any and there was a distinct lack of Corn Buntings.

25th December (Chichester GP's/Burpham)

The juv. Scaup seen diving frequently and further up the path the Long-tailed Duck was showing nicely.

No sign of any Bewick's @ Burpham.
