An early morning visit to Dinton Pastures on the way to work yielded the bird I wanted to see - one Nightingale singing in a hedgerow by Middle Marsh. Other interesting birds were 2 Common Sandpipers on the jetty on Black Swan lake and a Greenshank on Tern Scrape.
